Things I'd like to do now the seasons have changed

Wow, it's been a month since I blogged? That's a bit rubbish. Rest assured that lots of Very Good Things have been happening. I'm tempted to tell you about all of the worky things, but I feel like a little me time right now. I've been working really hard today and on next to no sleep. So I'm going to chill out this evening, watch One Tree Hill and eat some tasty food. But while I'm enjoying being self-indulgent, here's a little list of a few things I'd like to do now the seasons have turned. All of them are just for me.

  • I really want to see Breakfast at Tiffany's and An Inspector Calls. So excited about both. I read An Inspector Calls when I was about 12 - I found a copy in my brother's room. He was a bit confused to find me sat on his bedroom floor reading it. And I'm excited that Breakfast at Tiffany's not only has Anna Freil in it, but it's a take on the novella. I'm curious to see the ending. And how they'll get a cat to stay on stage too.
  • I'd like to do the embroidery course at The Make Lounge. Really really want to do that course. Maybe I'll ask for vouchers for my birthday.
  • I'd like a nice birthday party. With a cake (a caterpillar one) and all of my friends in a pub that also has a late license.
  • I'd like to be able to spell license on the first attempt as well. Can't do it.
  • I'd like to do Shoot London with my new camera. But it's a bit scary as I've only taken twelve photos on it so far. Two of those were of my toes. One was of the telly.
  • I'd like a holiday. Just a little one. Tiny, even. Hotel room, beach, book. Cafe, shady tree. Just some quiet. The world won't collapse just because I bugger off for a couple of days.

Just some stuff for me. Cup of hot chocolate, some chips and a hug would be kinda nice too :-)

How is everyone else?

I misread your post and thought you said that Anna Friel was in My Fair Lady. I was about to huff and puff that she couldn't possibly pull off a cockney accent...

You know what? I think she could. She's done scouse, she does a cracking American accent in pushing Daisies too.

Really a wonderful actress. She should get much more credit than she does.
