Meeting Jim Haynes

I've probably had about 130,000 people to dinner...

A couple of months ago, I went to Fernandez & Leluu's supper club. It was one of the best meals I've had in London (and certainly the best supper club I've ever been to). So when the guys behind After Eight got in touch with Qype about running a supper club event, I was thrilled when they passed it on to me. Tonight, we get to meet Jim Haynes. The guy in that video that everyone thinks is the product of an imaginative marketing team. He's real. He lives in Paris and he's been running supper clubs for the last thirty years.

Tonight, we get to hang out with him, whilst Simon and Uyen of Fernandez & Leluu serve up some really delicious food. There's a mix of friends, bloggers, Qypers and basically awesome people coming along. There's a great little buzz all over the Internet today, at least in the part of it I live in. Everyone's excited.

It's been a busy couple of weeks getting everything organised, and I tip my hat to F&L who have worked so hard to get everything just perfect. Tonight is going to be very special. I'm very lucky that I get to do awesome things like this as part of my job.
