Over on Domestic Sluttery, we write a series of blog posts abut our favourite little online places. And all of those are fabulous, read by us every day until we've had our fill of pretty things. But there are some blogs that I read without fail, as soon as a link pops up on Twitter, as soon as something comes into my RSS. They make me stop what I'm doing and pay attention.
These are the blogs that interest me, inspire me and make my day brighter. Some of them are work-related, some of them are written by friends. But if you want to know what I read every morning with my cuppa, this is it:
Marian Librarian. Goodness this woman is fabulous. She's also one of my favourite people. Think writing about social media blogging is all dull and pointless? You should be reading this.
What I Wore Today. I don't know why, but I really do care what Poppy wears every day. She's also far too pretty for her own good.
QWGHLM. Chris doesn't blog often. But when he does, it's well worth reading. Same can be said of Flashboy actually. They might be infrequent, but they're very good.
Whatleydude. You all read this already, don't you? In fact, stop reading me, go read him.
Dan Worth. Dan tells stories. Dan tells me what books to read. Dan tells jokes. Dan's blog makes me smile. I like it when Dan blogs.
What Katie Does. We've written about Katie's blog on Domestic Sluttery, but it's a personal favourite. Fabulous photography, brilliant design ideas and full of 'I wish I'd discovered that' envy. I think reading blogs makes you a better blogger. Reading Katie's blog makes me want to be better at what I do.
Fernandez & Leluu. Recipes, life, supper club insights. Without a hint of smugness behind their (deserved) success.
1000 Heads. Yes, it's a worky blog. But this blog challenges the way I think about stuff online. And there's always a fun debate going on. Mostly started by me being a little upstart.
A Hundred Visions. My goodness it's just beautiful.
Facegoop. I'm going to start sounding like a fan-girl stalker soon.
The Swelle Life. Seriously, have you seen the fabulousness that appears on this blog? The boutique deserves a whole post on its own.
1000 Awesome Things. It's all awesome. There's so much awesome here. There's a little bit of new awesome every day.
And yes, you can add every single blog written by the Domestic Sluts on this list.
These blogs make me happy. Like that little blog reading bunny in the photo. Someone asked me what blogs I read recently. This is the answer. Today at least. I hope it'll grow, change and evolve. Isn't that what blogging is meant to do?

Totally agree about Marian. I found her via The Bloggess (who is on my list) and then discovered you were a regular there :)
I tend to not read blogs about clothes or design, cos I don't often get that excited about either (I shouldn't say that to the ed of DS, should I?) but I will check some of these out. I also don't think I regularly read any blogs by (gasp) men. Which is a bit weird...
Aaaah, Marian and I know each other in real life. That Kiwi she talks about? One of my very best friends :-) We actually met in Oslo, of all places.
I was surprise when I wrote this list - I love the design blogs (it's rare I read blogs that are purely fashion), but they're not what I go to first. This stuff is. The boys on that list are well worth reading.
aw, I love what you wrote about me - thank you!
You're welcome, Katie!
Ahhhhh, thanks for including me amongst such awesome blogs :) And how frikkin cute is that rabbit?! x
If I had a bunny, I'd teach him to read 1000 Awesome Things.
Oh, you're friends with her Kiwi! How cool. :)
I tend to assume everyone knows each other via the internet these days. I should probably remember that it is possible to make friends in "meatspace" too.
Awwwwwww, yay! Thank you dearie, you're pretty fabulous yourself ;-)
And Diane? You're kind of awesome.
