Yesterday, I remembered the brilliance that was Willo The Wisp. To me, so much better than Moomins. Now, my Saturday morning TV has been sneakily replaced with sensible things. Saturday Kitchen instead of cartoons. As much as I love James Martin, I'm not sure I entirely approve. I miss sitting cross legged, with my nose practically resting on the telly, watching cartoons before Going Live. So here are my favourite kids cartoons, in little illegal sneaky YouTube video form:
Willo the Wisp
Kenneth Williams, perky theme tune and an evil TV called Edna. Fuck Powerpuff Girls.
Trapdoor
Kids all OVER the world stopped what they were doing to watch this show. I have it on DVD. Wallace and Gromit has nothin' on this show.
The Flumps
I was super young when this show was on. Three or something. I remember watching a whole video of it when I was sick, and then getting mad at my brother because half of it was Thomas the Tank Engine.
Gummi Bears
My favourite TV show in the world. Bar none. Go away, I'm watching cartoons.
Button Moon
Look! You do NOT need snazzy graphics to keep kids happy! Watch! Fabulousness.
He's a hero. He's gonna take pollution DO TO ZERO. He also did an episode where he rescued Belfast after they'd been blown up by a nuclear bomb. Blimey.
Tune in for more cartoons next Saturday morning!

Nobody EVER remembers Button Moon when I talk about it. Yay for fellow Button Moon fans. Another long shot, did anyone watch The Potato Head Kids?
