A couple of years ago, I produced a music video with Anthony Gurner for a rock band I was managing (ask me about that over a beer). I've paid close attention to his creative stuff ever since, even though we don't see each that often.
Anthony did the cinematography on this short film, Sign Language. It's an amazing film and it's just won the Virgin Media Shorts award. Every time I see it, it makes me well up a little bit. I've watched it countless times and it still happens. This version is a little longer, so even if you've seen the short short (heh), have a watch of this one.
If this film doesn't make you smile, and give you happy goosebumps then you might have a heart of stone. The main actor is Jethro Skinner, and you can read more about him over on The Guardian. Fabulous performer.
Congratulations to everyone involved in making this film (especially Mr. Gurner). It's a triumph.

Goosebumps and giggles : )
Happy goosebumps are the best.
I should also mention that my other friend Tiernan Hanby was also involved, yet for some reason I decided to omit any mention of him from this post. I don't know why. He deserves a virtual high five too.
that was lovely - best use of 4:56.
Isn't it? They're very deserving of all of their lovely awards.
