In a bid to get used to my DSLR camera a little more, and play about with all those buttons, I've decided regular action is the way to go. I initially planned to take a photo a day, but not only is that impractical, it'll get damn boring when I take photos of my shoes at 11:59pm for six days running. So instead, at least once a week I'm taking myself on a little photo walk.
I started yesterday, a little later than planned. And then realised that the light was rubbish. So instead of leaving the camera in my bag, I took photos of all those bright lights and neon things I saw along my way from Charing Cross to Qype HQ at Oxford Circus. You can see the rest of the first set on Flickr, but here are my favourite three:
Yes, it's just a multistorey carpark in Soho. Looks kinda cool, doesn't it?
The Old Coffee House still have their Christmas lights and decorations up, this makes for fun photos through their window.
Love the light coming off these bottle of booze in Gerry's, and that the window-shopper looks a bit like he's mesmerised by it all.
I wonder what I'll snap next week...
