Imagine if everyone dismissed Tavi because she's too young. How stifling. That's the great thing about the internet - the boundaries it breaks down. The fact that I can read a fashion blog by a young girl and enjoy it, and that the internet gives me that opportunity is a really brilliant thing. That should be celebrated, not scorned.

Also, I had never heard of Tavi until I read this post. Just had a look through some of her posts and a couple of videos. I was skeptical, but she is really fantastic. She's not just a good writer for her age, she's a REALLY GOOD WRITER. Full stop. She is also just... sort of... cool.

To me, the whole point of blogging is that it doesn't have any kind of age/gender/religion/race/location/political view/etc restrictions on it. I'm not convinced anyone has the right to comment on anyone else's right to blog, no matter how long they've been blogging, how many blogs they've got, how many readers they've got, how old they are, their level of expertise, etc. Blogging is a democracy; we vote with our clicks. If a blog isn't worth reading, it usually isn't read. I think it's fine (read: necessary) to be able to disagree with what someone's blogging about, but you really can't question anybody's right to log into wordpress and shoot their mouth off.

This isnt water. Sorry, I was confused as hell when I saw the advert on TV. Water does not contain any calories anyway so how can it be skinny water?

If the comparison is between other "flavoured water" drinks then fine but this is not the comparison the marketing team for this thing are making.

Sure you could have easily marketed it as having a high mineral content, or how it contains ingredients that help you slim, or having lower calories than flavoured water drinks, but no, you went all out and said it had less calories than water.

Frankly I couldnt care less about this product, the reason I searched it out was because the advert made no freaking sense. Some people are just so stupid.

I have a box filled with wristbands, flyers and backstage passes that I've got since I started gigging a lot - even if it's a plain wristband I keep it and write on the back the band, the venue and the date.

I'm figuring that when I've stopped playing, I'll have a lovely record of all the gigs I've done and the places I've been. And when I start feeling down about the lack of progress I'm making with my music, I remember that I've already played a hell of a lot of gigs, and that counts for something.

Another fantastic post. And very true. I keep my personal 'stuff' in a drawer by my bed. It's silly, but things like buttons, bookmarks, ticket stubs and wine labels etc mean the world to me, because of the memories they hold or the people who gave them to me. No one can judge their worth except me, because no one else owns those memories.
